<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JeffW</b></div><div>So drouin is a upgrade on parise and cogliano but not Val. Especially in the playoffs vals forecheck is almost necessary for mack and rantanen. I wouldn't be opposed to a
Drouin mack nuke
Lehky mittelstadt rantanen.
That's if the avs make it to the next rd, they always seem to play terribly during the afternoon games and then they head back to WPG</div></div>
I like your top 6 better.
So bottom six be then
Wood colton parise
Kiviranta trenin duhaime.

Game 2 hero
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15a</b></div><div>JJ was entirely responsible for the 2nd goal, all he had to do was tie up his stick and he decided to instead play the body and his stick was no where near the passing lane. If JJ is getting muscled he doesn’t bring any value whatsoever because he is easily the worst skating d man. I mean I’m not going to die on the bench JJ hill, but I would just prefer Jones.</div></div>
JJ is super strong, especially in the corners. At home he shouldn't see Scheifele ever. If the Jets try to chip & smash, I trust JJ to handle those board battles better than Jones. Plus he's due for a breakaway dangle goal.

Whats the difference between early Nichushkin and Kakko
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JeffW</b></div><div>Well nuke had to redefine his game after his time in Dallas, the reason he's so effective is because of his speed, added with a motor that doesn't stop, being the first guy to the puck and winning puck battles.. his shot isn't very good and his deke move is always the same lol. So paired with other skilled players he's the "hyman" of the line, he's getting better at deflections and is picking up a bunch of assists from mack and rants.. while slamming in pucks from the front of the net
Mostly he's just an effective big bodied puck carrier that doesn't quit on anything</div></div>
All of this plus he's a good skater in general; for a guy his size, his transitions are strong and, with his long legs, he creates distance between himself and opponents well. At the NHL level, when you combine his size, his skating and his puck skill, you can get a really effective player. Not sure if Dallas expected him to be a sniper or whatever but that isn't his game. The Avs saw the potential, Bednar found his strengths and has put him in a position to succeed. Sounds like Kakko needs someone to do the same for him.

Curious to see what happens in 24-25
Can't imagine Marchy would take anything less than 4 years and he'll probably want more money. I bet Hanifin wants something more like what Toews got ($7.25M). Also, you gotta think about re-signing Theodore and Hague next season and Eichel the year after that. But I suppose Vegas is a "worry about tomorrow when it comes" franchise so, who knows?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cub19</b></div><div>If landeskog comes back then most of then expect manson traded if they wanna sign forward depth</div></div>
Manson, when healthy, is such an important piece of our d corp. He is the only one with size, and I think unless management feels his age/health will affect him on the final two years of his contract, he is more important than being able to sign a depth forward. Just my opinion though.

According to pro hockey rumors. Nuke is coming back Friday along with mittelstadt and walker.
However LOC is not playing tonight due to lower body injury. So yeah kirivanta is playing. I can see parise playing with colton and drouin while kirivanta goes to 4th line
