Vancouver Canucks signed Andrei Kuzmenko (1 Year / $1,800,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JustanIdea</b></div><div>Fair, but if you roll with Miller, Petterson, Boeser, Podkolzin, Horvat, Garland, Kuzmenko, Dickenson, Hoglander, Lammiko, Dowling, Highmore. There isn't much space to add anything.</div></div>
Dickinson and Pearson might get moved, so there should be a spot for Hoglander unless he spends some time in the minors

Canucks Offseason

They'd be more willing to do that than Roy, for sure. I still think his skating will turn LA off from him though. Unless he's willing to take a longer term deal at a lower AAV (~$5.5), I can't see the Kings being interested.

Would you make this trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>If I’m Arizona, I at least think about that trade. 7OA and more than likely a second high round first, maybe in the top 10, all for 10mil of cap space and a 4th. Arizona could then flip them with retention at the deadline assuming they have a good year. It’s not outside the realm of possibility, but it definitely makes the Yotes think about it. I don’t think that Ottawa makes this trade though.</div></div>
Ottawa would never even consider it. We aren’t that desperate for cap space

best case Ontario
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JustanIdea</b></div><div>Once Brown leaves which I think he does via trade this winter then Formenton and Joseph will form their next elite PK and those two are amazing skaters.</div></div>
Connor Brown is pretty damn fast. Formenton is on another level but both Brown and Joseph are plus skaters
I am not sure Connor Brown is traded. I don't know what their plan is but he's the Sens best 2-way winger, their #1 PK forward and has been the most used Sens forward in each of the last 3 seasons. He's out there in every situation, coach relies on him a lot
Let's see which winger they acquire this summer first, then who complicates things at training camp...

I don't think a lot of people know this but he scored 18 goals this year while playing in about ~70 games.</div></div>
13 goals at even strength and led the NHL with 5 short handed goals
As a 22 y/o rookie
But that is just a detail, his size/speed/nastiness package is way too enticing to give up.

Also as much as I like Mateychuk, the Leafs arent drafting an offensive LD.

Formenton value isn’t unreasonable on a surface level, but it just doesn’t really make sense for the Sens. they’ve been working on Formenton’s development for years now and he’s turning into a legit two-way threat who’s good on the PK. his next deal won’t be expensive, but the Sens aren’t interested in moving him unless it’s in a deal that blows their socks off, and this just isn’t that.
again, value from an outside perspective is reasonable, but the Sens just don’t do this

What do you think could be a deal similar to this with Boston? I doubt Oliver moves from Vancouver in all 6 years total in his deal includes 21-22

Just to be clear to all blackhawk fans.
Kirby Dach has played in 152 games over 3 seasons, 19 goals, 40 assists and 59 points at -22 while averaging 16:31 per game.
Kappo Kakko has played in 157 games over 3 seasons 26 goals 32 assista for 58 points at -14 while averaging 14:37 per game.
The idea that the rangers need to add to get Dach is lunacy. Kakko is putting up 1 less point over almost 2 full minutes less per game. Do you understand the math here? That with far less ice time, kakko is performing far better.

My bad I hadn't even really clocked Lundell, my mind was working around the shenanigans and just making note of another first pick gone even if it's a low one. That does paint a different picture though it makes it doubtful for Florida I would think. I think maybe it happens if the Avs are a bit more generous than a 6th going back.
