I know this much, if they make the playoffs, it's going to be in the most hilariously entertaining bass ackwards fashion, and I'm excited to see how it happens lol

Agreed but you can't ask krebs to carry both kulich and skinner defensively. Faksa has a much longer track record of being able to handle that. Its possible that under Ruff, Krebs eventually over takes Faksa, but Imo this is how hed start it.

Did Adams want Don to fail? Kevyn did not give give him the tools to excel.
Adding Erik Robinson to replace Quinn? Erik Johnson to replace Lyubushkin? Over playing Levi?
The Sabres will certainly make the playoffs with Quinn in the line up all season, as well as Kukich and Savoie.
Over Ruff's last 14 seasons as a HC he was fired twice before the season ended and won exactly <strong>TWO</strong> playoff series!
"Yet what has he conquered?" Nothing
Hail Adams, Hail Pegula, Hail the gladiatorial arena!

Samuelsson
Let's get a few things straight.
Sammy is not a dump. Sabres are not trading him for another lefty. Sabres are not trading him for a smaller and older dman. Ferraro only makes a little over a mil less than Sammy. Why in the world would the Sabres add a top 15 pick and a second? This is awful for the Sabres and exactly the opposite move of what they should do.

Right now I don't think UPL is going anywhere but we'll see this off season what the contract looks like in terms of term and money...that may be a telling sign what Adams is thinking long term</div></div>
Never said he would be traded, but it's not out of the Question. Really depends on the offseason

Buffalo
No, for all of the ufas. Girgensons time as a Sabre should be up, he's been here 10 years, it's time to move on. Kane, is gonna wanna go play for a cup contender, not a team just trying to make the playoffs. Amadio seems like an awful idea, we need grit and another option for the pk, he doesn't add either. Can't see pecse coming here, probably gonna look for a team closer to a cup, and I don't think 6x6 is a ton more than he could get from a cup contender. Bryson is worthless, he cleared waivers last year, nobody is looking for undersized left shot puck movers that don't put up offense. Upl won the starting job, ullmark costs more and can walk next summer, not interested. I do kinda like the Columbus trade, think Columbus is overpaying here, but it doesn't matter- there is absolutely no chance the Sabres move power. I'm fine with moving jokiharju, we've got too many puck moving d, would like to get away from being the easiest team in the league to play against.

Why do you keep saying this player is untouchable or that player will never be traded. Very few on the Sabres should feel safe, and we saw how your Mitts theory unfolded.

Theyve tried to add him twice now and hes said no. Think its time to entertain the possibility he genuinely doesnt care that its his home town and doesn't want to play for the Sabres.

And yet, regardless of where you try to trade him, his no movement clause will prevent you from doing anything. Not to mention, he kills Montreal whenever he plays them, why would he want to be traded there?

Well…. the Sabres sure aren’t doing that BS
We need a “shut down” RD type
And even though we have EXTRA LD,
we aren’t gonna trade the guy we could use MORE OF,
for an OLD guy with a big Cap Hit who will always be more of an “offensive” guy than a “defensive” one
I’m sorry, but how the fudge does that make ANY sense???

Minnesota will want more for Rossi, understandably. Also, Rossi is a bit of gilding the lily for Buffalo, with all those centers already.</div></div>
I’m glad somebody else remembered that Skinner has a no movement clause, not just a no trade clause. Good luck sending him anywhere. He can say no to anything you try to do, and he probably would. It makes me laugh when I see an AGM that sends him to a team like San Jose. He is obviously not agreeing to that.

The contract lasts only another year, and the production is down this year. I get that Armstrong fleeced NY, but all factors considered, quadruple value for a single year of a value contract, then having to resign him for 8+ long term just isn’t good business.

I keep seeing Buch to Buffalo. I keep seeing incredible overpays. My question, legitimately, is how did his trade value triple/quadruple from his last year in NY (RFA signing rights, 25 years old, coming off near a ppg the year prior and a really good up and coming player in 19/20. He was traded for a second and a warm body. Now, age 29, with one year left to UFA, he’s worth firsts, top prospects, ++. I guess I don’t see it, I know he’s played a little more center and that increases his value, and I know his output is up. It’s like there’s some pluses and minuses from his earlier trade.
