Consensus CBJ ACGM - Attempt 1
The Hayes deal is fine from the Flyers perspective and more or less what I expect an actual deal to look like should it come to fruition.

More importantly the Flyers aren't trading Hart for two future first round picks (which will likely be late) and a bunch of junk.

PHILLY GirouixRisto for AVS CompherMurray and Picks
Murray does nothing for the Flyers. They wouldn't trade Giroux alone for a 1st, 3rd, and Compher, let alone add Risto who they can probably get a first for and at the very least a 2nd plus.

The Flyers aren't making a deal without that 2023 Colorado first unless they were getting Byram or Newhook, which isn't going to happen.

Giroux to avs
You are on the right path, but not quite there. Not that a 4th round pick is a big deal, but there is zero need for the Flyers to add a pick to that. If anything it should be Colorado.
I agree that a first round pick in 2023 from Colorado would be in any deal. I also think Compher makes sense for a few reasons. First off for Colorado it frees up 3.5 million in cap space. Also, while Compher is a decent player he is overpaid and I would imagine they expected him to get better than he has. For the Flyers it gives them a decent roster player in his prime who is under contract through 2023. Compher gets an audition in Philly for the rest of this season and most of next. At which point they can either re-sign him or trade for an additional asset at next year's deadline.
Lastly, the Flyers should be getting back a prospect/young player. Byram and Newhook are obviously off the table. So that leaves Barron, Hellson, Ranta, Alausson, and Kaut. I think the Flyers should have their choice from that list and while there is no guarantee they would choose him, Barron makes the most sense for their needs.
I have been saying weeks now that this trade makes too much sense for all parties involved not to happen, and that it will be Barron, Compher, first in 2023. We shall see.

Fair value in the deal with Philly, but I would suspect they will want some of Risto's deal retained. Something like 1 - 1.5 million.

Bertz replaces JVR and everything else ~ even
Voracek and Tarasenko likely similar input overall
Especially given their relative health situations
Even if one assumes Ghost is useless defensively (moreso he's meh) Savard is useless offensively and Ghost outscored Dumba this past season so... 😐</div></div>
Bertuzzi is cheaper than JVR, and a much more physical player. The Flyers were way too easy to play against last year. Bertuzzi helps with that.
Tarasenko is a sniper, Voracek a playmaker. It's about fit. The Flyers need a sniper a lot more than a playmaker.
The Flyers were the worst team in the league in terms of goals against last season. They need a Savard a lot more than a Ghost on their defense. Again, it's about fit.
Reinhart enables them to move Hayes down to 3C which gives them the high end center depth they desperately need which you didn't mention. Add to that Ellis and a much better goalie to play with Hart in Bernier and no the team is nowhere near the same.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Roscoe</b></div><div>As a Flyers Fan, even I know what a terrible trade that is for Buffalo
If you traded with Seattle for Voracek why didn't you use Seattle? And if you think St. Louis is taking Voracek I have land on the moon I can sell you
Flyers didn't protect NAK to just flip him for nothing
We got hosed in the Frost deal
Savard will start at 5million
Its not all bad, I think you are correct that Seattle drafts Haag:)</div></div>
Reinhart and Konecny put up similar numbers. Reinhart wants out, they would have Konecny for several years at a reasonable cap hit. Eakin was bad last year and only has one year left on his deal. Buffalo isn't exactly a hot spot for free agents so getting JVR for two years makes them better. The Flyers could add a prospect or pick if need be.
Tarasenko is on he Blues roster, hence why the trade appears to be with them. I Stated in the comments he will get taken by Seattle and flipped for Jake and a pick.
If you are dumb enough to think they protected NAK because of how much the like him that's on you. They protected him so Seattle wouldn't be tempted take a cheap option like him, and instead hopefully force their hand to take on a bigger salary like Jake, JVR, or Ghost.
Bertuzzi is a proven 25 goal / 45-50 point winger who is a pain in the ass to play against. Frost has done nothing. They'd be lucky to get a player like Bertuzzi or Garland for him and a first.
Savard isn't getting 5 million in a flat cap, and he certainly isn't ''starting at 5 million.''
Anything else dumb you want to say.....

Realistic Outcome
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy12Bob</b></div><div>No, Detroit values Bert highly and won't trade him unless the return is as good as the Mantha trade was.</div></div>
If that's the case he's going nowhere. Nobody is going to be stupid enough to overpay to the level that Washington did for Mantha. That was simply a horrendous trade. A really good but not great prospect like Frost and a first round pick should be plenty enough to land Bertuzzi especially with a similar winger available in Conor Garland and other options in free agency that don't require trade compensation.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jphaxx</b></div><div>I was looking around at some other mocks that had patrick going for similar value. What do you think PHI would want back for patrick?</div></div>
I think he will be the 2nd or 3rd piece in a package deal to get a really good player. Maybe him and a 1st for Garland or Bertuzzi, or him, Myers, and a first for a defenseman. I think if they were to trade him on his own it would be another disappointing young player with upside. Heinen and a 3rd does nothing for the Flyers.

Adjustments
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>flyersarephilly</b></div><div>I still don't think they make this deal. Schmidt isn't exactly the player Philly is looking for</div></div>
The problem with the deal isn't Schmidt to the Flyers which might interest them if they strike out on other options. The problem is that the value is terrible. Vancouver got him for a 3rd round pick. Schmidt had a down year and Vancouver wants to move him for cap space. Somebody really needs to explain why they think the Flyers should or would give up Patrick, Myers, and the better pick in a mind round swap for him. I've seen several proposals on here of Schmidt to the Flyers and the vast majority of them are for a 2nd or 3rd round pick which is about the best Vancouver could expect.
Sorry to the roster creator but this is simply not a well thought out or realistic trade in any way shape or form.
