So you give Frederic a 1yr deal and Swayman a 2yr deal. That leaves them as RFA's when the contracts expire.

Absolutely no risk. Bruins should be all over this on a 1 year deal. Lots of Czech influence in Boston so I'd imagine Zadina would sign.

red wings and Zadina agreed to mutual contract termination so he'll be a free agent shortly. I think boston should give him a look

Obv this comes as a contract renegotiation after his contract with Detroit is terminated. I think Boston actually would get some value out of him with Zacha and Pasta. Hopefully pasta could show him the ways

I’m agreeing with you bud. Settle down.
A far better solution is moving smith to a different team in a separate transaction

Coyle, Tuukka, Krejci? Obviously Krejci and Tuukka all depends on extensions but I feel theyre both likely to get one. Grizz is out of here come summertime imo. I think we see the Bruins move a pick to Seattle for them to take who we want them to take come the expansion draft. Too many guys eligible for this upcoming expansion.

I think thats pretty fair imo, but according to what ive read from Wild fans on here is that theyre looking to add a center. Also depends what happens with Brodin this deadline/summer. If he ends up being the guy that stays in town I cant see them making a move for Grizz.

Bruins ride Griz this playoffs then sell him at the draft imo. I also dont see the Bruins moving Bjork, they've stuck with him this whole time thru injury, he'll get extended and if he cant make the next step next year then I could see them moving on from him.

Big time Anaheim trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AFOX10900</b></div><div>ANA gives up: one of two or three best forwards when healthy on a steal of a contract AND a legit number 1 d man also on a steal of a contract, both with term
ANA receives: nothing nothing good top 4 option late first.... Hard pass from me chief</div></div>
that's fair, you don't know who grizz or bjork are. I think that's the initial reaction i was expecting. So, here's the issue, Kase isn't that good. I like him, but he's a half point per game player for his career. Good 30 game stretch last year? Sure. He's a fringe top 6, but a solid middle 6 guy. Not a first liner. I will admit that I thought he was of age to be UFA at the end of this deal, but he's not, so it's a real good contract. Lindholm is awesome, but is that the league wide perception? Is that Anaheims perception? He's playing under 22 minutes a night this year. His production is down. Fowler is playing a lot more, so I'm not s sure anaheim thinks of him as a legit number 1. I don't think it's enough, but teams that are starting to incorporate analytics love grzelcyk, almost more than me. he's a major piece.

I doubt Kings will trade Toffoli this season. MAYBE at the deadline. I think he will have a really good season. If that's the case you'll need to add more especially if it's at the deadline.

I can't see them getting more than that back. Kase has had 3 seasons of NHL experience. Was a 7th rounder. and although 20pts in 30 games is nice he still only played 30 games last year.
Ducks are getting a top 6 defenseman with a higher ceiling that showed great promise in the playoffs as a rookie defenseman and a top 9 winger which hasn't been given an opportunity along with a 2nd round pick. Seems like a pretty fair trade IMO

Likely LineupCap Moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ngp2</b></div><div>yeah except McAvoy probably notices 7 vs 8M and maybe that's the difference between 6 and 8 years on his deal?</div></div>
McAvoy wants a short term deal. His agent isn't dumb and here is why I say that (aside from the fact that rumors are he wants a short term deal)....
-McAvoy has two years of stats and can't sign an offer sheet.
-He's missed 30% of the possible games he could have played.
-The Bruins are a few years away from some key pieces coming off the books (big contracts)
-The NHL has a new TV deal that's coming in '21-'22 (IIRC) and rumor is the cap will take a HUGE jump
Look at how much these contracts jump year over year. There are d-men now making over $10 million a year. In 3-4 years where do you think that number goes? Trouba just signed for $8 million a year and I'd argue right now that McAvoy is as good than Trouba.
So as Charlies agent do you want him signing a 8x$8 or say a 4x$6 and then once the TV deals kicks in and some contracts come off the books he could sign a 8x$10+ (assuming he continues to develop upwards) contract. McAvoy wants to bet on himself and I'm perfectly fine with that. Give him a bridge deal and call it a day. That million isn't going to make or break things, and like I said (assuming he's not traded) I think Backes is heading to the LTIR.

Very realistic trade. Bruins get rid of a bad contract. Hurts a little but has to be done. And devils have ton of cap space so it doesn’t really hurt them and they get a 2nd round and a potential top 4 D prospect.
