Call me back when he’s playing against men as opposed to children. Lysell is more talented, a higher pick, and has a performance level in the AHL that labels him considerably less of a risk
If you view Kuzmenko as a positive contract, I don’t know what to say but my guess is getting rid of his contract was considered a blessing for Vancouver. Debrusk at $2M should get you close to a first, They aren’t even in the same ballpark.
Also, what’s the likelihood that Lindholm makes it to free agency now?</div></div>
debrusk isn’t at 2million?
brz as a defensemen is putting up much better offensive numbers in his d+1 than lysell did with the giants in his d+1.
Kuzmenko wasn’t a negative asset imo, and he’s shown that since joining calgary.
Lindholm likely signs with whatever team he ends up on for about ~ 7aav

they don’t? imo brz is a better prospect than lysell atp. debrusk is slightly better than kuzmenko. the firsts are close enough. van also gave up another pick and prospect in the lindholm trade, which accounts for lindholms drop in value

least delusional oilers fan.
probably takes more to dump campbell
no team is paying anything close to a 1st for more cap dumps in kane and kulak
every signing is way below what each player would get
just not a very good acgm at all

nemec is absolutely not a top pairing dman yet. he is scrapping top four ability atm but he does have potential to be a top 10ish dman in his prime. bratt is good but flawed, as his defensive play is not good at all. the 1st is a late first. i struggle to see the massive overpayment that you’re talking about

id argue that he is worth all of those. in order to get a top 8-12 player in the league you have to pay them accordingly. in the NJ case, having a one-two-three punch of hughes-pettersson-hischier is certainly worth giving up bratt and nemec.

He only got 1 1st and a 2nd</div></div>
and pettersson is LEVELS above where eichel was when he was traded. petey is a borderline top ten player in the league, and will be coming off of back to back 100pt seasons providing very good defensive value as well. eichel was coming off of a very risky neck injury that could’ve caused his play to fall off. luckily for vegas, eichel is still very good

boston has very few pieces that would be of interest to vancouver. the buffalo deal should be just cozens and power

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dgibb10</b></div><div>Eichel/Tkachuk didn't get anything close to this.</div></div>
eichel got a proven top six forward, a top prospect at the time, and 2 firsts while being injured. pettersson is more valuable than he was at this point. Tkachuk got a top 25ish player in the league at that point in huberdeau and a proven top pair defensemen. Tkachuk is a winger, pettersson is more valuable

Canucks 24-25
I am not sure the CBJ is the right fit for Pettersson, at least not for that package. CBJ probably does not trade Fantilli for Pettersson straight up, if you take age, contract and potential into account. Perhaps a package of Jiricek + Johnson + 1st + 2nd makes more sense.

understandable, would prefer the canucks target someone with a little more upside but raddysh would be a fine addition to the bottom six
