Cost of these players from fellow fans
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>StutzlesNumber1Fan</b></div><div>It's been reported the Sens have had interest in him prior, and I actually really really like him as a player. I think he's a very good 3 line winger with the potential to be a 2nd line player.
You are likely right. Maybe a package including Olli + Berggren could be arranged if we think Kleven needs 1 more season in Belleville? Would free up Detroit like 4M$ between Olli + Berggren offersheet.</div></div>
You can have Maatta for a 4th or a 5th. I know <a href="/users/csick" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@csick</a> would like to see him in Ottawa.

That would be my guess but go easy on him. Vancouver has yet to win a cup in their 54th seasons.

Detroit passes. They just resigned him and Podkolzin is still sending more time in the AHL than the NHL.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FarhanLuigi</b></div><div>This is probably the cheapest you'll get a Boeser. Yes, he scored 40 goals just like Debrincat except he did it recently and he's already signed to a sweet 1 year term without leverage unlike Debrincat whom you had to sign big money after giving assets.</div></div>
If you really think Boeser is so good why trade him for a prospect, a mid 1st and as you said a cap dump. But I do agree that Holl is a cap dump
If Boeser's contract had 2yrs left I could see Detroit being interested. But more than likely Detroit won't have enough cap to resign him.
The cheapest we you'll get Boeser but in the description you said "Boeser value wont get any higher." You really can't have it both ways.
About Debrincat v Boeser
Boeser has hit the 40 goal mark more recently than Debrincat. Boeser's 40 goals this season is 15 above his average. Debrincat has 2 41 goal seasons and a 32 goal season. Plus he averages 30 goals a season. Once Boeser scores 40 goals again then we can continue this discussion but until then there is no way you can convince me that Boeser is better.

It's not about the player coming to Detroit. It's about cap space and trading Holl for Garland or Mikheyev gives Detroit less cap space. Plus, Garland and Mikheyev both have more term than Holl.

40 goal scorers cost something, I know, shocking! After realizing when you are not dealing with Pierre Dorian.</div></div>
Please Boeser hit the 40 goal mark for the first time this season and it was also first time he broke the 30 goal mark. Boeser has averaged 25 five goals a season making him a 25 goal scorer who had 40 goal season.
I wouldn't trade DeBrincat for Boeser straight up.

Blow Up
While a good portion of Leaf's fanbase on CapFriendly thinks Toronto is better off without Marner, that's not the case with Larkin in Detroit. As it was painfully clear we need him to win Detroit's record without Larkin 4-10. Detroit quite easily declines.

I'm sorry but any writer who suggests that Johnson could be the sweetener to a Merzlikins cap dump shouldn't be allowed to use a keyboard.

Yeah but since he not a UFA for 4 more years his auctual value doesn't matter, because his value Anaheim says it is. But waiting until he's a UFA might be the smart move it will right around the time Montreal is coming out of their rebuild.

Husso is still Detroit's #1 goalie so I seriously doubt they pay to move him. Cossa has been very good this year but he might not be ready until the season after next.

Draft to ONL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sharcuda22</b></div><div>That trade was proposed by a Red Wing fan… holl is a big negative asset and fabbri is borderline neutral…
FLA and CGY tho im not gonna disagree</div></div>
Holl's buyout is cheap Detroit buys him out before paying to move him.
Fabbri had 18g - 14a - 32p in 68 games while averaging just under 13 minutes a game.
Only Zetterlund had more goals with 24g. He played 82 games and averaged just under 19 minutes a game.
Along with Zetterlund, Eklund and Granlund had more points but they had a lot more ice time.
He is probably borderline neutral to some teams but SJS isn't one of them. Fabbri would make SJS a better team without a doubt.
I'm not saying SJS should take this deal but Fabbri is quite easily better than Sturm.

Trade Down Pricing
The top 3 are trades that you could see being made. But moving up 1 to 3 spots it would depend on who's still available at 10 and how bad they'd want that player.
The bottom 6 are non playoff teams or teams that just got in to the playoffs and they won't give up that many picks to get the 10th pick. But you did say those are the ones that seem off.
Have you ever gone through past drafts where only picks were traded and compared them to the Draft Pick Value Chart?
