If Robertson is capable of putting up .5 PPG (like Zacha as you've mentioned here), what would be the point in making this trade? Holl and Robertson will cost less that Zacha and Wood, with (potentially) similar production></div></div>
I think Wood is a must for this team. His game is similar to Coleman, Goodrow and Paul.
I also think Robertson need a fresh start elsewhere. Zacha could potentially become a really good 3rd line center behind Tavares and Matthews with some PP time on the 2nd unit.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JustanIdea</b></div><div>Dude, I'm not a Devils fan but Habs fans seriously need to be stop sending 'scraps' to the Devils for the second overall pick. That'll be Cooley or Slavkovsky both of which will give them more than the Habs could ever give. As Cooley and/or Slavkovsky could be even better than Wright and have seriously different profiles as players.</div></div>

I did that from lot of trade that I saw.
I try to give more asset than all of the trade I see here.
Only thing that need to know is if the devils want to be in the playoff next year, this trade give them more chance than keeping Cooley or Slafkovsky as rookie.

Only way to move the 7th OA
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>glarson17</b></div><div>Lol did you really say Boucher is a top prospect? If you truly believe that then there’s much more wrong than this trade proposal. Literally 0 other teams take him in the top 20-25 at least. 14 points in 24 OHL games and only 3 points in 17 NCAA games is not a top 10 pick. Just because Ottawa massively screwed up that pick that early doesn’t mean he’s a top prospect. Jarventie is okay, maybe a 2nd liner if he fully develops. I don’t see it, probably is more of a 3rd liner. Still, that’s not close to Timo.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FunMustBeAlways</b></div><div>Boucher is a 2nd round talent that Ottawa decided to pick 25 spots early instead of Sillinger or Coronato lmao. That doesn’t make him a fantastic prospect.</div></div>
I totally agree with you, but in the sens prospect pool he is a top prospect. I'm still wondering why they take him at 10th OA.
Give me other prospect you could look at ? Sokolov? Crookshank?
Sanderson is untouchable. Maybe JBD or Thompson ?

Boucher and Jarventie are top prospect. Boucher 10th OA in 2021.
Jarventie need at least another year in AHL. Then he would be a really good middle 6 player.

I'm sure Arizona would be on non trade list, and would be Seattle, Montreal, Winnipeg, Jersey, Chicago. (that's six) Can't think of any other teams that would want him or can afford him.</div></div>
Maybe, but sometimes player have to accept even if they don't really want. Look at Ladd.
Panthers can say you go there or in the minor. Not sure he want to finish in the minor.

Can we please be done with these ridiculous, illogical proposals! Also Price is not going on LTIR, he said in his presser he is not giving up, he isfocusing on being ready for next year. IMO that means he will at the very least start 20+ games next year and see how his knee holds up. If he can not sustain his level of play then he will look at his options.</div></div>
He said he is not giving up, but also told that if he can't play like he does in the past he will not play. That mean if he is to play 30 games and not be at 100%, he will not be playing.
If the 1st OA was Bedard there was no question about trading it. But Lot of question here about Wright. Can Cooley land 1st ? We just don't know

You have 1 million under the cap and next year you'll have 5 defensmen to become RFA or UFA and two goaltender.
I think the best case scenario is to sign one of Gaudreau or Boeser and keep the money for guy like Mercer, Hotlz, Sharangovich and bring some defensmen for next year.

From habs side, I don't want Tippett. He look like a bust.
