If Pittsburgh is able to move Acciari first, then I would take the offer.

Penguins would do such a trade without picks and pay retention involved. Not in this case.

Has the Stamkos Era Ended
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>habs_trade_churner_50</b></div><div>You are one injury away from not having your top three RD. Your only RD in the system is St. Ivany. I appreciate you can sign Nolan Collins off of your reserve lists this summer. Having an extra higher-ceiling RHD, like Barron, would be a good edition to the Penguins. The fit isn't great in Montreal for Barron, but his talent his undeniable.
Don't forget Koivunen was drafted 51st overall and Barron 25th overall. (And Carolina did not part with any A level prospects in the Guentzel trade.)</div></div>
Both would have to play regularly to reach their potential. We can sign a RD capable of playing when injuries occur, that's not a big deal. The draft order is no longer relevant. Koivuinen has had a great season, I think he definitely has skill and high potential as well. I like him. Pittsburgh has other needs, especially bottom6 not scoring enough, and left defense.

To say theres nothing in there for you is just dumb</div></div>
Pittsburgh don't need RD, we have Karlsson, Letang and St. Ivany. You're also asking for higher picks. Koivuinen is a prospect they wanted from CAR, and we have no reason to trade for another unknown commodity. I don't know anything about Cooper Foster nor Sean Farrell. This offer just does not solve anything we require.

Great offseason easy mode
Pittsburgh needs to get younger and they also need center capable to create offence. This offer brings that, although it's very risky, I'd jump on this.

Todd Reirden contract will expire in summer. He won't be back, not a chance.

Deadline predictions
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>theleano1</b></div><div>I don't see teams lining up to trade a bluechip prospect plus picks for Guentzel, this package is more than what Horvat and Lindholm have gone for, both playing more of a premium position. Guentzel being hurt right now and being a ufa at the end of the season who clearly isn't going to re-sign with the pens diminishes quite a bit of his value. This package is on par for past top deadline targets. Your getting three good pieces in the 1st 2nd, and Räty. Two Solid pieces in Myino and Bains. and a guy Dubas loves in Mikheyev. Two of the prospects play more premium positions being Center and Defense, it help rounds a really depleted pens prospect pool. Scoring wingers value as a whole are down look at what Buffalo got for Reinhart a 1st and a decent prospect the market just isn't there for a huge package that involves a 1st and a bluechip prospect for a scoring winger. This package is hardly scraps and is on par for past deadline packages</div></div>
I said top prospect + other prospects, i did not mention picks at all. Pittsburgh does not need those right now unless they're gonna blow this team up, which is not the case, it's only about this season being done. I'm not saying this offer is an insult (I should not use word "scraps" before), but I prefer to get something else.
