Just a little splashy
Didn’t know Eugene Melnyk was on the Yotes and Jets, being cheap retaining salaries as he always is

They could maybe swing this

I think Landy would take that deal with the avs, but he certainly could get more on the open market.</div></div>
Yeah, I agree. I think Landy would take a really similar deal with the Avs, but I still think that is a tad too low. Especially if the report that he turned down a 5.25x8 is accurate. If that report is accurate, then he is thinking that 42 million is too low for him, even considering a team discount.

Weird but ok
Kadri will be good. Im a huge fan and didnt want him gone, but the plain fact is even if we kept him Seattle was taking him in two seasons, and I think he pissed the management off too badly in the playoffs. Hard trade to like but both teams did well

Realistic Avs next year and signing depth scoring
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>russ02</b></div><div>Looks pretty good, maybe Girad gets a bit more, I am not so sure Barrie will be back, but that depends how other people in their contract years perform, if Jost breaks out he'll be looking at a decent pay day. I kinda think that they will take Byram, to replace Barrie because cap is gonna be tight with such a big core to lock down. Then through MacK's new contract on top of that a couple years after all this. Who do you think they take at 4, I think this will play a big part in who leaves/Traded?</div></div>
It depends because if dylan couzens is there and if mangement has doubt if Jost can be a top 6 centre I think he could also be an option so there wouldn’t be a worry about signing a 2nd or 3rd line centre and waste cap on that.
But as for Byram can be as well and i feel like mangement will ask barrie what’s he looking for and if they feel its to high then yes think about him. Also You guys already have 2 top 4 LHD guys in Z and Girard so unless you wanna pay Z 3.75-4.25 to play on the bottom 6 but again you will have to find away to move a cole or Johnson for him to play bottom pairing. I don’t think that’s smart. The way this dcore has played in the playoffs I would keep it the same in my opinion.
Another option is Podkolzin a RW scorer so that is another great option or even Dach but that maybe a reach at 4.

last 5 seasons...Krug 44 goals 246pts (159 on the pp) in 380 games, Barrie 60 goals 256pts (133 on the pp) in 378gms....I would arguee you have that backwards, Barrie has produce more points, and more 5v5 points as well as goals than Krug. when it comes to offensive point producing Dman in this league, Barrie is as elite as they come.

19-20 TOR MTL
I'd like the opinion of an avs fan on this : wouldn't you prefer drafting Bowen Byram at #4 instead of Cozens, and have Byram - Makar , Girard - Barrie pairings?
Sounds pretty good to me!

3rd overall
Lemme get this straight.. for Colorado to move up 1 spot you want them to give you the #4, #16-#18(roughly) and all they get is moving up 1 spot, a cap dump, and a mediocre prospect that's a career AHL goalie?
They have a back up goalie in Francouz next year. There's no interest in a cap dump 3rd line centre for no significant asset coming back to them.
This is the literal worst offer I've ever seen for anything.
& it's funny that you tried to cover up the fact that you're a Hawks fan on a Avs post LOL....

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>russ02</b></div><div>Too many center prospects already: Jost, Kerfoot, Kaut. All have a chance to still be that #2 guy. Only way they would have gone center was for Hughes. Now that he is most likely out of the picture, will probably go byram.</div></div>
I think Jost and Kaut will both be wingers, but I guess Kerfoot could fill that 2C role. Taking Byram would give the Avs a pretty stacked d-core. So then switch Byram and Turcotte in the rankings. I could also see LA taking Dach instead of Turcotte, and then Turcotte falls to the Red Wings.
