<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>You realize adding Tatar has little to no value unless the Hawks can retain half his salary and flip him at the TDL? Tatar is coming off a pretty bad season in which he certainly didn't play like a $5.3M player.

Eichel; and Cat isn't headed for a major surgery with a unkown long term prognosis, isn't a year older, isn't at odds with his team and the team being forced to trade him, isn't being traded in season where very few teams can do cap gymnastics to fit in $10M, isn't carrying a $10M cap hit and isn't a UFA in 4 years. Start with that trade and realize Cat will have more interest from a lot more teams given the timing, being a RFA in another year, lower cap hit, and never been injured and not heading for a major surgery and you'll understand why he probably gets more.

I promise, no team in their right mind would take take Nemec or Cooley for Cat, a 31 year old 1 year rental that carries a $5.3M cap hit coming off a 30 point season, and another 1st that will end up being mid to late given the team you put together here...zero chance any team trades a elite young player for that.</div></div>

So thanks for confirming me by not answering my question. Well done.

Didn‘t I write „doesn‘t necessarily have to be Tuna“? I sure did. So instead of ranting about a serviceable middle six player (who does have a lower cap hit btw) give me some other options the Blackhawks could be interested in from out current roster.
