It's Fletcher, no one knows lol

In seriousness though you may be right, unless they trade Hayes that might not be the best fit. Flyers want to make a splash though and Kadri fits the gritty with skill style they like.

Zetterlund showed real promise in his short stint.. We‘re keeping him.

Torts said today that he sees a lot in Hayes' game that he thinks he can improve and said hes very eager to work with him, so I dont see them adding a center like Kadri. That still scares me extremely bad though cause it would be such a Flyers thing to give him an 8.5x6 or something ridiculous for him to put him 55 points next year

I also doubt Frost is moved unless its in a package. He showed lots of promise at the end of the year, and due to his skillset/ability to play center I imagine the hope is for him to continue off his end of year play and then step up to 2C for 23/24. Definitely like Sampo, just not sure this makes sense for us right now

Watching Forsberg flounder away up close in the playoffs there is no way Sakic does that contract, I’d rather just give it to Kadri. Like the Frost Ranta swap. MAF as the Avs starter gives me indigestion.

Jeff Marek said repeatedly the last 6 months that Avs were looking at Forsberg if Landeakog didn't resign. Wouldn't surprise me if they went after him again, but probably only if Nuke leaves.

Avs are 13-2 in the playoffs with sub-0.900sv% goaltending. Sakic must be thinking this team can win even with just league average goaltending. MAF isn't a perfect solution but maybe worth the trade-off if you can sign someone else as well on D or forward.

Fair enough. His forechecking tenacity is why I think he'd be a good fit for the Avs, that's what Bednar likes in the bottom 6.

The only reason Frost won’t be on Philly next year is if he wants over 1.5 which I believe is why people think the flyers may move him. If he signs for under 900K he won’t be traded

Devils are very high on Zetterlund. Bowers is probably UFA/Non-tender candidate. Would need better prospect or player in return.

Minus this deal, if Kadri comes to Philly I’d do a coots centring Hayes and Atkinson line
They’d neutralize probably any top line in the game, Kadri with Farabee and Konecny would be a very productive line 2

NJ would be getting the rights to Burakovsky, which would mean a good chance to sign him. He'd fill their biggest need beyond goaltending, and is worth more than a bottom 6 forward who hasn't established himself yet.
