A FULL rebuild is the only way
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Warpbox</b></div><div>“Pearson had a surgery to fix a surgery“
What does that have to do with anything?
They also already have Mikheyev, Kuzmenko, Garland, Beauvillier, and Boeser (who is traded in this) They also have Podkolzin and Hoglander who will likely be in the NHL next year.</div></div>
I'd those were my wingers i would not consider myself deep at the positon

If CHI claims Vrana
Luke-warm take: Nobody is going to claim him. He'll end up in the AHL, and may get recalled in a few weeks. None of the good teams can afford to take the remainder of his cap hit, and none of the bad teams will risk getting better.
Should someone take him? Absolutely. Winning >>>>>
Will they? I'm 99.99% sure they won't.

Canes possible move before TDL
They're unlikely to move a goalie. Kochetkov is waiver exempt if they feel like they need to move one, and Skyler isn't good enough of a prospect to warrant an outright move. No need to mess with this team right now, they're humming along.

I'm surprised how much I like this from an outside perspective. Some of the values might have to be upped, but it's nothing the Leafs don't have the assets to do.

Kings don’t need to trade for muzzin, they can just bring back edler, stecher, or maata for LD

I don't like how you traded away Kerfoot and a 6th for a third. He's a good penalty killer and should be worth a second for just him. No 6th-round pick. Other than that, I like it.

I like holl to NJ for a 4th for both teams
I think bratt gets more money, he is a really good player
I think Forsberg is so underrated and a very complete player, I just do not know how comfortable I would be with NJ adding another big fa contract like that when they have to hope the players from within can work. I could see them trying to trade Zacha + or something along those lines to upgrade at the wing spot while not spending 10M.

That’s kind of how I was looking at it, with Gibson having great value currently, and Dostal up and coming, I should have reworded it a bit better - Gibson does fit the rebuild, but Dostal fits it better in my opinion :)</div></div>
Remember when everyone thought that Spencer Knight was going to replace that $10 million cap dump Sergei Bobrovsky?

Whatever
Los Angeles could decide to sign Kempe to a five-year or longer deal, so acquiring Nylander for only two years isn't a sensible strategy especially if it also costs Durzi. And trading for Kempe only to sign him to a two-year deal which walks him to free agency would be moronic. And the LAST player RD-heavy Los Angeles would be interested in is Justin Holl, even if we trade away two of Walker, Durzi and Spence.

Kings pass. Durzi showed promise this season, so I doubt they'd be looking to trade him. Matt Roy or Sean Walker at retained salary could be alternate options if you're certain the Kings are the right trade partners.

He’s 22 years old, if you wanna nit pick the term prospect so be it, but the Bruins don’t have any “prospects” as good as him on defense. Young enough to be considered a future.

The cap is suppose to increase by $1,000,000 a year these next 3 years, And then a big jump after that. So it shouldn't be flat for long.

22-23 Leafs
While i dont love moving 63 to the leafs, if it were to that point i think the value is more than fair. It just depends on whether Boston wants to target Nylander or go younger (Knies, etc.) I think Sandin is a good player, and I really liked Hirvonen in the draft. I'm not sure if Nylander is the best fit for Boston, but i know he has a good relationship with Pastrnak, and 80 point 26 year old players on fair deals dont grow on trees. I think the value is there, just not sure if thats exactly the direction Boston would go in this situation. Good post, interesting trade!!
