lol your concept of value is consistently so off its hilarious.
Seider to move up 1 spot in the draft? LOL

Well that's the best you're getting because that is going to be the top 3rd round pick in the draft more than likely. Why, what do you think he's worth?

AA is more valuable in my opinion. One of the fastest players in the league, already a 30 goal scorer. Can play center, a lot of people think he is better suited for the wing but he played center at the end of the season for 10-15 games and look pretty good, so the fact the he can play both if needed adds a lot to his value. I don't really even see any argument TBH and im not saying Buch isn't a really good player but, why is Buch > AA better in your opinion?</div></div>
Buch is not better then AA and that’s coming from a Buch guy...

Yeah makes sense. Where is detroit at right now?, looks like you guys have some really good young talent and then a bunch of old foggies on their way down hill. Full rebuild coming or on the fly..

That is why you are not employed by any team as a scout. Any input on why you feel he isn't good? Bad skater? Not a good shot? Can't think the game at the pro level? Doesn't play defense? Zadina had a very good first pro season as an 18-year-old in a professional league. He looked very good in his 9 game stint in Detroit. Sorry, he didn't light up the AHL, but that doesn't mean he is a bust like Nail Yakupov.

Trouba offer sheet question
That would be kinda dumb for Detroit. Giving two picks for a guy who could walk at UFA in a year. The way the Wings improve is keep their picks and spend their money on a UFA...like Trouba in 2020.
This obsession that Trouba HAS to be traded. (in so many posts) Why?

Tampa Cap-Crunch solved
This whole "up against the cap thing" to me is laughable.. the ONLY way that is possibly somewhat true to get lower value for a player .. is a) if there was only ONE suitor for a player AND 2) said other 1 team KNEW THAT .. and 3) trading team HAD to sell low compared to other options
The odds of all above coming true are near zero

Killorn is a .5 pt per game scorer .. 40 pts for the last 5 years with high plus minus .. usually NOT playing with top guys that inflate guys like Johnsons numbers .. he has some size and grit .. he is still in upper 20s and contract is manageable at 4.4M for next 4 years.. compared to MANY other team players over valued on this site .. he a relative bargain . I would keep him over Johnson and Gourde in a heartbeat all things considered

Tampa 3rd pair is Detroits 1st .. again you have to look holistic and take emotion out of GM decision making and focus on team creation not solo player optimization</div></div>
Detroit's 2nd and 3rd pairing aren't going to be around 2 years from now. They have 3 d-men prospects knocking on the door. They will be pursuing RFA/UFA and are hoping Byram falls to them at 6.
I don't know how much more I can take emotion out of it when I quote the work of the analytics head of the NJ devils a few months before he took that job. You just don't want to listen because it doesn't fit your narrative. Sergachev is a 2nd pairing guy. Argue with the head of the NJ Devils analytics dept if you feel otherwise.

Yzerman trading with Tampa

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ryminister_27</b></div><div>I agree that Mantha probably isn't likely to be moved this summer. But if you seriously think that's not enough you're. Mantha is a 50 point winger, in exchange Detroit gets another winger to take his spot (Gourde), a stud young d-man (Sergachev), a very solid B prospect (Katchouk) and a cap dump that they can easily buy out... Tampa over pays on this one. Detroit takes that in a heartbeat</div></div>1)Mike Green has a full NTC until Feb 2020, so he can void the deal.
2) Mantha is not getting traded for that kind of return.
3) Callahan is going to require Tampa pay to trade him as any team does with a salary cap dump.
<strong>Newsflash, Tampa is going to have to overpay either in draft picks or in prospects to get rid of Callahan. To get Mantha they have to overpay too. </strong> Mantha's only 24 and a sniper power forward--a rarity in the NHL. He probably could do well not to getting in so many fights as he's broken his hand during fights in multiple seasons. Think what the return for older power forwards has been: Mark Stone got a top defensive prospect, a 2nd round pick, and a roster player. Wayne Simmons got Ryan Hartman (former 1st rounder) and a 2020 4th rounder. Kevin Hayes got 2019 1st rounder plus Brendan Lemieux (31st overall pick in 2014).
Tampa is in serious cap trouble with a RFA that can be target of an offer sheet (Braden Point). They have 17 more days (June 25th is the deadline for RFA not taken to arbitration) to get a deal done or other teams can jump into negotiations. The Wings don't have that time pressure to make a deal. In summer 2020 they are going to need more cap space to sign Vasilevskiy so simply getting rid of Callahan this year isn't going to be enough as they need additional money beyond that deal for bridge deals for Cirelli, Joseph, and Sergachev (which is probably why he was included in this proposed deal).

I’ve been waiting to see someone include Bert on a Trouba trade. Cus boy, he’s the type of guy the Jets are missing and I’m not kidding. In the playoffs they need a guy like him. In my opinion as a wings fan though, he’s the third most untouchable on that team after Larkin and Hronek. So I wouldn’t do it. Rest looks nice but maybe some underpays

'If the receiving club matches the Offer Sheet, they cannot trade that player for 1 year from the date of first refusal' - Offer Sheet FAQ on this site, so if it is a matter of them not paying Kapanen that for cap reasons they would need to trade someone else. It would be doable, and they could get more the next year, but if they are in the situation where they don't have money for him it's because they have decided he is the odd man out (or Dubas has screwed up).

Every single one of these trades favors the Oilers. The only one that is close to fair is the Detroit trade, but Detroit loves Glendening and I don’t see them trading him.
New York doesn’t need another right handed D, they have a ton.
Milan Lucic doesn’t make Arizona a better team. They want to improve now and I don’t see why they would do that.
I don’t know where Sam Gagner fits in Nashville’s lineup. I think Bear and those draft picks could maybe get it done

BECAUSE NOBODY ****ING WANTS HIM THATS WHY. Its better to just be rid of him and pay 600k a year against the cap for the extra three years than it is to have him counting against the contract limit. Nobody is going to take him even for half his cap hit unless we add a significant pick or prospect.

I get what your saying but buying out Callahan is 2yr @ $2.5M and $1.7M or close to it. So getting their 1st for what is basically a 3rd you tipped the balance to far toward the Wings side. Plus at least on this site there are a lot teams interested in Callahan contract.

Yeah I'd do that callahan trade.
Tampa shouldn't care that much about drafting this year we have a decent amount of good prospects they should care more about signing point and cap issues.
Tampa will probably move pieces around this trade helps that cap flex.

I'd keep Detroit's players as well. Detroit isn't trading either of those guys. Patrick has 6 more points in his career than AA had this season and AA almost had 3x the goals. The only reason Zadina didn't play more games this season is if he played 10 or more games to the Wings would have to protect him in the expansion draft. Sanhiem is good but not worth our top prospect and a 1st rd pick. I don't think the value is even at all. But I'm a Detroit fan and probably a little biased.
