Winnipeg needs a winner and a good locker room guy . He also has experience and 2 years is well worth it especially to help season the younger guys and this leaves some cap room

NJ has lots of room 19 M this year and a lot of potential cheaper talent to make moves What they don't have is a top caliber Goalie

Copp
as a jet fan i love it but to keep it real i think that is a over pay i can see 2 pieces comming back for Copp just not sure Col is the team though, they seem to try and keep building for a run and not sure the team is deep enough to go all in yet Copp would definetly help this team though

dont think Copp deal works with CAR next team up
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Canoehead</b></div><div>We agree to disagree. Cheveldayoff’s revealed preference is to maximize winning sooner rather than later, otherwise he wouldn’t have made all of the deals to put the team in a position to win now at the expense of asset development. If Copp ends up being an own rental, that was Chevy's choice.</div></div>
while that might sound true i believe if the right offer comes up for Copp CHEVY will pull the trigger to upgrade this tean

i don't think he wants to be in Wpg and definitely not sure he is a top 6 forward very smart player very defensive oriented but his hands

that is the exact reason why Copp will b traded this season Jets will need to recoup something for him not going to let hi walk into free agency IMHO

think that is a bit of a high price but think the Jets might want Martinook instead of Fast because they look weak on the left side as i see Stastny plating and teaching Perfetti

not sure what you perceive Copp's value to be I think the jets would be lucky to get this also what do think Casey Cizikas value would be in signing think he is in the 3m range which might be to rich for the jets with the questions of how good will the bottom 6 be

handcuffed by Littles status
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tsyls</b></div><div>Samberg and Heinola are going to give the 3rd pairing LD a run for their money as they both could make the roster. It really is unfortunate that wpg has to deal with essentially another Dustin byfuglien situation in terms of having to save sufficient cap space until wpg knows what little will do. I believe it is highly unlikely he will return to play but they can’t make any moves until they’re 100% sure. Jets would be better off signing Dillon and DeMelo, along with haula to patch some of their holes</div></div>
i think Chevy wants to get a little stronger on the back end and Tannev fits the bill maybe 1 year was to short a term but i think the money is close Dillon is a good signing but i kind of like Soucy

little not on LTIR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Birtle34</b></div><div>I would be surprised if little doesn’t end up on ltir, he’s had the solid career, made his dough, and had some major major injuries, that could quite possibly effect his quality of life going forward. Other than a ring, I don’t see the draw back to the rink for him.</div></div>
true but until we know LITTLE'S status the jets are virtually handicapped especially if he wants to play, so we have to assume that the jets have to keep 5m under the cap or hope he is willing to stay LTIR for the year or retires
