Description

I just think it makes too much sense. Hughes and Gorton keep talking about getting more skilled and fast, and from what I’ve read wright doesn’t really fit that. Add in Hughes, St. Louis and Gorton have extensive knowledge and comfortability with the college game since the first two have sons playing ncaa, as well as Hughes’ familiarity with Cooley due to him playing with his son, I just think it makes too much sense. With wright everything I read talks about how he’s not dynamic and projects to be a “good too 6 forward”, while sources will rave about Cooley being a star. Well then why hasn’t he overtaken Wright yet? What am I missing?

That would be an absolute disaster, Wright is the best available player right now and it's not even close.

Cooley may have a big higher ceiling in terms of point production but even that is a stretch. By all accounts he is not on the same level as Wright in terms of his entire game. Wright is the better player and i dont think theres any chance the habs draft anyone besides him.
