There isn't one player with star player quality in that deal, they would have to add substantially.

Although he has had a slow start to his career, Quinton Byfield definitely does have star quality.

Leafs dont do either of these deals, that's not enough for Matthews and they aren't giving up multiple 1sts for a 34 year old ufa
