Description

The purpose of this AGM is to show what the Sabres would look like in the 2024-2025 season without the current cap hit of 82.5 million increasing. I have seen many comments that after the "shortsighted, stupid, awful etc." contracts given to Tage and Samuelsson, that the Sabres will not have enough cap to pay their other players!

NEWS FLASH, I still have 7.5 mil in cap space which could be used to upgrade goaltending and/or the wings. Heck I could even hand out a massive contract to Power and still have around 4 mil to spare.

How does Samuelson signing for 4.2 mill make you believe that Power will sign for only 6.5?

All that cap space is gone if Krebs is given more than 3.5 and Power is given more than 6.5.

Also being tight to the cap in 2024-2025 with Savoie, Kulich, Quinn, JJ, and Levi all coming due next season. If any of these guy's pan out it is going to be impossible to sign them all

In a rebuild/retool the bruins keep the 25 year old with four additional years of term, rather than acquiring that junk.

The Cap won’t be an issue for us at all- not for YEARS
Eventually it will be if all our young talent develops like we want it to, but that would be a good thing
