OEL isn't that bad. Do some Canuck fans hate him? Yes butHe is honestly being played in a position he isn't a fit for as top shutdown defenceman on the Canucks. Use him as a offensive defenceman with a good stable partner he isn't horrible. Some people act like he's a horrible hockey player. He's overpaid yes. but at 4m that's probably fair value for him if put into the right situation.

Like I think he'd have on Detroit where he'd be #1 offensive Left side defenseman and be paired with good stable D partner Not the Chaos giraffe like he has been for most of his time in Vancouver. Is the return I asked too much. Zadina looks more and more like a bust would like to give him a shot with Kuz and Petterson see we could be the change of scenery for him. Osterle is a decent bottom pairing defenceman literally only asked for him to balance salary a bit he doesn't need to be in there. and Johansson is a long shot 4th round pick that could be something could be nothing.
