Anyway, I feel like the Blackhawks could get a pick along with taking on Mantha's contract from the Caps rather than sending one their way as you suggest.
Blackwood probably doesn't get a QO by the Devils to begin with, could likely be had in free agency without having to give a pick up.

Hawks don't make any of these trades. Hawks are not spending picks to fill out their roster or hit the cap floor. These moves would amount to an F in asset management for Hawks.
