Description
I would imagine they are, but is Buffalo even interested in Carlo? Does the 3rd rounder maybe need to be upgraded to a 2nd (or more)?

Every team in the league is interested in Carlo. He's "the most boring defenseman in the league" to quote an article from a few years ago. He's on the ice for the fewest goals scored by both teams which, on a team with another competent offensive defenseman, is very welcome. Plus he's entering his prime as a defender on an amazing contract. Guys like him don't get crazy returns because of the lack of offensive upside, but that package doesn't get him. Mittelstadt or Krebs, an A- prospect like Ostlund or Rosen , and a 2nd. A 1st if the prospect is lesser.

Jokiharju, Rosen, conditional 1st makes a lot of sense to me from how the Sabres want to form their team. Mittelstadt is far from untouchable but they need Savoie, Benson and Kulich to mature before trading him without an offensive return.

To make sense for Buffalo, Jokiharju needs to go the other way. Krebs is not ideal but could probably be included, but you wouldn't get a a good pick or prospect in return like a 1st or Rosen. Think the prospect would be along the lines of a Neuchev, Lindgren or Kisakov.
