Kevin Shattenkirk is still in the NHL? I don’t see a fit there, the Avs already have 4 PP QBs above him in the depth chart.

Hawks probably would not give up the 3rd for Grys much less throw in a 22 year old they have pencilled into their NHL lineup this season. Someone might pay a 3rd (or maybe even a 2nd) for Grys.....but I can;t see the Hawks being that someone.
