Huge yikes on that Rakell contract. You got to get him going before trying to trade him, not a single team in the league would take that contract on while giving positive value.

Penguins can't really make any changes unless we get rid of a big contract so that's the dilemma for us. Not super easy to make a completely feasible ACGM.

I don’t think anyone is going to give Pittsburgh anything for a guy that has 4 assists in 17 games and is sitting on a contract that pays him $5m per for four more seasons after this one. Rackell will be 31 at the end of this seasons, so that deal could look really bad in another season or two.

Can't imagine the Hawks want anything to do with that Rakell contract even if the Pens pay the Hawks to take it. No chance the Hawks trade any assets to acquire him.

I don't think so either. I think were in a very bad spot and unable to really make any moves. But we also badly need chance in the bottom 6. Not an easy situation
