Blues have no interest in this at all. The blues are trying to get the best assets they can and trading down into the late first round for an additional 3rd and Ylonen is horrible value for us

What the hell is that Seattle trade? Giving up the better pick and better prospects....

To trade up that high with the Blues has historically taken the 1st a 2nd and another 2nd/3rd depending on that pick being 12-14 or 15-16

Don't mind the Canes deal, would like to see them package multiple picks to move up in this draft and including one of their young dmen (Harris or Struble likely) would be another good piece of work for Hughes to get done

Canes probably pass on that one. That pick is currently conditional, but assuming it doesn’t get transferred, see the Canes-Preds trade at the 2021 draft if I remember correctly, for value. Harris doesn’t bring much value to the Canes since the Canes already have a plethora of dmen, and not getting a high second in return isn’t helping.
