Very curious to see what they say. They got 23M in cap space but these all most likely get bridge deals. They need 2 more dmen so they''re probably not looking at UFA spending. From what I've seen on here so far with Columbus is a lot of swaps. Like Kent Johnson for Rossi, haven't really seen them trading them for picks or even trading for picks in general. Consensus seems to be theyre done trying to load up on picks and start their upward trend in the rebuild process with all these guys. With Waddell coming in, I also don't see him going for picks either but could be wrong.

They have 23million in cap space, and none of these players are worthy of massive contracts. Why would 4 RFA contracts be a big deal? They don't have a 90 year old Loufather as their GM... they will figure it out.

Voronkov doesn't need a new contract until 25-26 so he can get scratched off the list. As for KJ, Sillinger, Marchenko, and Chinakhov, they're all going to get bridge deals except maybe Marchenko. There's no point in trading any of them away, especially for picks, when they're all perfectly affordable and still developing. Hold onto em and see what they become unless you can trade for a 19-24 y/o upgrade.

Yea I forgot to include Texier and Nylander to the trade and I was thinking that you might not have enough roster spots in your lineup to get each of these guys the necessary minutes to develop let alone anyone else you call end. It’s gonna be crowded but I guess you could fit everyone under the cap

I am kind of hoping we pick up a defensive defenseman over here, but preferably one with experience so that he can be a mentor to the other blueliners we're developing. Another young guy doesn't really do it for me.
