Even then...I think that it would be the first time in NHL history that the majority of a team's twitter following does not believe that their coach is worthy of this award.

I mean taking down both Pittsburgh and Washington would be very impressive to say the least. Especially for developing Coutierier into a true 1C as well as Provorov into a very good #1 I can see it

I don't want to get into the "development" of particular players with Dave Hakstol, but I would be surprised if Flyers Twitter gives him any credit for the good that he has done. Flyers Twitter likes to focus on the stuff that goes wrong rather than the stuff that goes right - such as playing Oskar Lindblom more in only his second game.

Suffice to say, I would be shocked if he got it, even with the Conference Finals appearance

WCF: Vegas vs. Nashville - Vegas wins in 7.
ECF: Tampa Bay vs. Pittsburgh - Tampa Bay wins in 6.

SCF: Vegas vs. Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay wins in 5.

2018 Stanley Cup Champions - Tampa Bay

Perhaps Nashville goes to the cup tho, they're scary good team right now - deep and padded, however Vegas has been on a roll all year and I think that kind of momentum trumps natural talent in this situation - I'm using conventional wisdom with this pick.

I think the Pens are a great team but they're going to be burnt going into the finals, and Tampa Bay is a younger and more rested team and I think that will be the difference maker. I mean when teams go deep every year the mileage eventually shows... Players at that point are basically running on adrenaline... I've seen it with the Hawks so...

I see Tampa Bay putting an end to Vegas' Cinderella story, because Tampa Bay is just too talented of a team.

Voting is done prior to the playoffs, so playoff performance doesn't have any effect on awards.
