Just a question: Is @phillyjabroni still the Quebec GM? He hasn't been on CF in almost 5 months. Just asking for confirmation that he's still the Quebec GM.

negotiating on twitter is sooo much easier than on CF and everyone else in the game can't see all of your negotiations.

Can we get whichever BOG person is in charge of the waiver claims to post the recent waiver awards that were made.
I'd like to know if I can add the player I claimed or if I lost him to a certain someone who tried to swoop in and steal him.

My claim was made on Thursday and it's now SUNDAY.

If the group of you is going to "run the game" it shouldn't be too much to ask that you hold up your in game responsibilities.

Players go onto waivers for 48 hours, so despite the fact that you and Dylan both placed claims on him on Thursday, other people still had a chance to attempt to claim him until Saturday.

So since the winner wasn't determined until Saturday, the fact that it wasn't officially posted until Sunday doesn't seem like a huge issue, the BOG is not available 24/7

Also @Max what's with you liking every complaint against the BOG? Are we really that bad?

Also for those complaining about the BOG not doing their jobs properly (@TMLSage, @flamesfan419 and others) I've worked 26 shifts in the past 25 days, so basically just **** off

PREEEEEEEEEEACH. I just went through exams, end of term projects etc etc. Very stressful time for me. I’m not going to be available 24/7. This isn’t my job, I’m not getting paid. This isn’t in my top 10 of life priorities.

I was under the assumption that waiver claims were on a 24hr cycle rather than the 48hr time frame. That's why I timestamp my waiver posts.
So that one's all on me and I accept that.

Beyond that, what I did say may have been taken out of context simply because it's written out and there's no way to detect "tone" of what was said.
Why I said what I did is that I see most of you all on twitter rather frequent which I again assumed you might check in on CF to see if any posts have been made that need attention.
Nothing more. No one expects anyone to be here 24/7 so if I upset anyone I can be mature enough to see my error and admit to it.

He played in 2016-17 but i didn't notice how little he played. He played 2 NHL games.

I think a pro season counts as 10 games or more in a season in the AHL or NHL. Can't find the rule anywhere... maybe @Banks can confirm?

Also, be wary of players on amateur tryouts (at the end of their season players can sign an ATO and play with an AHL team, but it does NOT count as a pro season)

In order for a RFA on ELC to count for a season of play, a rookie must participate in 10 NHL games to count as 1 year used (or burned as some say). That magic #9 for games played is a part of a trial period allowed without counting as a year used in a NHL season on ELC for RFA status.

Is the cap going up after the year? If so, how much? Just approximately.

I think it'll mimic the real-life cap increase. Expect it to be between $83-84 million.

But is it confirmed that the GM Game cap will increase? Because i don't want to make a move that sends cap my way and find out the cap isn't going up.

I think that's the risk all GMs have to take on this subject. We won't really know until it's officially announced.
