Trades I’d like to see happen. Pit, NSH, Bos, Edm, Tor. Any thoughts?

Description
Obviously I don’t think every trade will happen, these are just trades that I find feasible and benificial to each side and wanted to see who else agrees or disagrees.

I don’t think Vanek is going anywhere; even if he was, At most we’d get a 3rd rounder. I think he’d be better suited to help develop young guys and maybe even sign an extension next year for cheaper

Preds won't trade Fabbro for Nyquist. Maybe something could work out with Allard or another one of our D prospects but I see this one as a non-starter.

I think Nyquist moves this year for a 2nd at some point and if we move howard to pitts I want jarry back . I think he looked ok last year and we might as well take a shot at some young goalies. dont think your going to get fabbro for that though

Pitt has two young, CHEAP, and solid backup goalies in ( Jarry- 2.77 GAA / 908 SV %) (desmith.-2.40 GAA -.921 SV % ) howard is certainly not needed

The Nyquist/Zboril deal could make sense for both teams. Zboril has fallen behind a few other prospects, and Nyquist is the secondary scorer that they need on the 3rd line.

makes zero sense for boston, but okay.

Nyquist just isn't that good. I'm pretty sure Boston expects Donato, Heinen, Debrusk, Marchand, and maybe Bjork and studnicka (center, but has shown the ability to play RW lately) to be better wingers than Nyquist. No need for him, and certainly not at that price.

I think Leafs decline.

They will need the money they have to sign their guys long term first and foremost.

it does?

Zboril is considered the closest to NHL ready of all the B's LHD Prospects. Also, Boston is loaded with young wingers, so why do they want 28yr old winger whose a soon to be UFA? They can get the production he provides from any of the young guys they have already.

You can just wait a few weeks and pick up Montoya on waivers.

pens don't even have the cap space for howard, they would be better off sticking with desmith as the backup with jarry as the next guy up if murray gets injured
