You should know plenty about centers that really help bring lines to the next level.

Rantanen gets carried by MacK. Not just lightly carried. It's ridiculous how good MacK is. MacK drives every play and Rants rides his coattails. Not good defensively and very one dimensional. Rants is not even a top 20 rw yet

He’s a great player, but his offensive numbers are not worthy of being a top 10 player. He’s not a #1 forward on a cup winning team

Just because he has more points doesn’t mean he’s better. Take Rantanen away from MacKinnon and he’s a 55-65 point winger.

Eichel is a seriously good center, don’t get me wrong. He’s a 1C. But he’s not up there with the rest of the talent on this list. There’s just no room for him.

I highly doubt it at this point. Also Marner’s defense and play driving and considerably superiors to Rantanen’s.
