Leafs won't be moving 2 of Brown, Kapanen, or Johnsson. Pick 1. The other 2 stay in Toronto.

that trade was based on one I saw on the leafs page and no one seemed upset. brown is worth the second and johnsson is worth bear a 4th and a c prospect.

All 3 of those players are PK guys. If they move 2 of them, their defensive game takes even more of a hit. It's not happening unless they get a PK guy back

Nope. Johnsson and Brown are way better PK guys than Khaira. Take out Johnsson. Doubt he's moved. Brown for Bear and the 4th

Leafs are not trading 2 roster players for a prospect and picks.

They are in win mode and would need something back that improves the roster now. If we had time to wait for bear they would just add sandin or lilegren.

Now if you were trading Larsson that might be of interest.

Why if he wanted out of Columbus and Chicago would you think he will even talk to Edmonton.

They won’t get an interview and no one will get him for anywhere near 9.5

I must have missed the agm you based your trade on but there is nothing there that interests the leafs. Take everything out replace Johnsson with kapanen and you send larsson. So brown and kappy for larsson.

He didn't want out of Chicago, he got traded and wasn't his choice. I agree, there is not a chance he goes to Edmonton but $9.5M is realistic...he will get $9.5M to $10.5M.

Panarin is headed to South Florida he'll get 7 x 11 no way in hell he signs for less then $10.5M per long term.

I would take Kapanen then. Brown is a meh 3rd liner, Johnsson's spot could be filled by Tyler Benson, but Kap could play top-6 here right away. What will it take?

Edmonton doesn't have anyone that can replace Larsson, I don't think they would do that.

Everybody tries to make a Leaf/Oiler trade. Really there isn't much of a fit as both teams want/need cap space. Leafs only interest might be Larsson but he's too valuable to the Oilers.
Gotta think Johnsson gets more. than 1.7m

He won't get $11M especially in Florida given the tax advantages. In Florida, $9.5M is very realistic.
