Nope. I would do Kadri for Saad with additions on both sides equaling the value but not Nylander for Saad.

Might be able to pry a little more out of Toronto for that trade. Man he was awful last night. That's a gamble for sure.

I thought Dubas "promised" Nylander he wouldn't trade him....haha.

Although the Hawks couldn't afford the cap hit without other moves, Leafs need cap space. Nylander for a third rounder.....seems about right. After the 1st playoff game, the Leafs would've got a second....now it's a third, gee if he plays any more games the price keeps on going down.

I would think the leafs add in a trade with the basic premise of Kadri for Saad.

Something along the lines of Kadri and 3rd for Saad and 6/7th or 2nd instead of 3rd.

Kadri and a third for Saad is fair trade value I guess, I’ll make a post about that soon.

My guess is that Anisimov would be traded prior to that.

I agree. Saad would fit nicely on Matthews LW imo. Speedy two-way winger. And Kadri would be great addition for Hawks.

Oh and Anisimov would be traded but its a wild guess which teams would be in on him. Maybe Minny and have Kaprizov to come over and have russian alongside him.

Because for all intents and purposes he sucks. Might need a trade to get back on track.

Tell us how you really feel lol... does this mean that we would have to pay to move muzzin?

No Muzzin has more trade value than Nylander. He's a 4m cap hit for just one year.

Now I admit the Leafs might have lost last night's game last night, but I wonder what the cap hit was the Bruins had to pay for those two referees.

Saad is not only producing way better then Nylander after this season, he's also a solid two way player and is cheaper. Saad for Nylander is fair trade value yet as a Hawks fan I doubt I would take the risk with Nylander.

Kadri is last the player the Hawks want. Would rather keep Anisimov then take Kadri.

Kadri is not a great addition to the Hawks. Would rather keep Anisimov as the 3C then Kadri. Plus, Hawks will likely draft Cozens or Dach so we don't need a 3C beyond 1 year at the most.

I would only draft Cozens if we make a trade or singed a top 6 forward.

To be honest I think Saad For Nylander is probably fair considering his production this season and the fact that Saad comes off the books soon. Might even retain on Saad.

The minute you blame the game on the refs is when you lose credibility. Calls were missed on both sides. Boston's game plan was exactly what they should have done in the first game; get physical against the Leafs to slow down the offense. The 3 recent cups the Hawks won and the years in between not winning, that is exactly the game plan against the Hawks; get physical. Saw it with LA, Anaheim, Boston, etc. Sometimes it worked and sometimes now but last night is an example how it can work.

What do you mean? Who else would you draft at the #3 OA?

Saad for Nylander is fair value but Nylander simply does not look good right now. So the Hawks take a big risk in that trade whereas Saad is pretty damn consistent; you know what you're going to get.
