You might be over rating Makar. Draisatail just scored 50 and 105 points. Makar has played a couple decent games.

Over rating the top prospect not in the nhl at the time, then comes into the nhl playoffs as a 20 year old and puts up a casual 4 pts in 6 games being a possession and break out monster, being an ice time leader

And you obviously have never seen Drai before. 4th leading point scorer in the NHL this year, 50 goals. 2nd in the NHL only to Ovi with 51. 3 straight 70+ point seasons. 0.89 points per game in his career. Not to mention this man is only 23. 6 years of control left on his contract not to mention his contract is one of the friendliest among the new generation of players at $8.5M.

Then Colorado keeps they're players and enjoys the playoffs while edm is forever cursed not to make it

Drai had 16 points in 13 career playoff games. With a 27.3% shooting percentage! And averaged 19:32 TOI in those games

I have no delusional value about Drouin. He sucked down the strecth and we won't get much for him. Not a big time player

For a top guy I'll admit you probably don't need Timmins in the trade that was a stretch. But Jost hasn't proven anything yet in his career

For the Weber for Subban trade you had to get an elite player back for each team and they did with each team. Makar is not guaranteed to be a top player in the league. The fact is he could have 4 points tonight or he could be a -4 with 4 PIM. Players can be great when they're young but they have to continue to develop. That's why I have Jost another guy who hasn't proven much yet. Plus a #4 OA Pick which could be great or could be terrible

I agree that leon is a great player and would love to have him in my team... that being said would i trade big leo for makar, timmins, jost, and a 4th overall, not on your life...

The most sought after position in the nhl is a #1 RHD. No way that Colorado gives up potentially 2 of them for a 1/2c or 1/2 rw.... because that's what he would be in colorado, hes not better than mackinnon

For an elite 1/2/3/4 punch for your team. I think Timmins is stretching it but Jost is to replace Drai, Makar for the elite prospect, and the #4 OA this year is not guaranteed to be good

Isn't easier to just say you're not trading any of those players?
