I actually quite like this. The only misstep of considerable size here is that Gagner is probably not moving, or if he does, more salary will need to be retained or an asset will have to pay for his move.

By legitimate value, I think it's actually an overpayment towards the Ducks... but in all those are two risk players so a rebuilder won't likely give up their primary asset.

I think he met this in realistic value though.

Not at all. Poolparty is considered as a bust, more or less. Yamamoto is a big question mark. Rakell is a solid 50-60 point forward with a great contract.

Essentially, that trade is Max Jones+Troy Terry+2nd for RNH.

It's up to you whether you consider that trade as fair or not.

What would make the Ducks part with Rakell? Another pick? A prospect?

Honestly if I were Ducks I wouldn't trade Rakell. He should be one of the key assets of their rebuilding. He's one of the assets that the team should be built around.

For example, I don't see EDM moving RNH for future assets at this point, either.

I am waiting to see if Edmonton even gives Puljujarvi a QO, and that is only $875K, 2-way.

I am thinking that the new management might be in a fish or cut bait mindset... and Puljujarvi is more chum than bait so I could see him gone. The best that I see them getting is maybe at the draft... bumping up a round or two, something like someone's 5th for Puljujarvi and a 6th or 7th.

I think he has a tad more value than that.

Usually when a trade is made, there are negotiated, it’s the start of that in fantasy, so suggest what you want for Anaheim!
