Jones for his pricetag isn’t the choice for Toronto as they gonna need to pay Freddy soon and Jones taking up almost 6 is too much. He’s better suit riding out in SJS and SJ finding someone who can eat a beta case scenario of 40 games to lighten the load similar to how the Islanders have been for last season and the start of this one. And Korenar is a bright spot but we can’t just assume he’ll be a starter or force to play behind a team in shambles it could do more harm than good

Look at Jones this year. Doesn't fill the bill at all. At that long term contract no thanks. Even Meirer has had just one good NHL year. The only reason the Leafs would trade Marner is to exchange cap for Dman help.
