Well let's start with me stating I still beleive Marner is overpaid, but only by a $1 million.

That Dumba contract right now is flat sexy on a silver platter, for everything Dumba is and still can be.

Think the talent portion of the contest is a wash really. Marner is fantastic at what he does, but Dumba can do damage in his own right......

So, it boils down to contract. And to balance that out, Zucker maybe the add here. Not sure Hyman does much for the Wild..... maybe talking Kerfoot honestly. Centre depth is an issue.

Zucker does nothing for me. Trade Marner if you want, but it should be for a good player and some cap space. Just don't think the trade helps the Leafs and Kerfoot is needed as it gives the Leafs three good centres.

I am not disagreeing on Kerfoot at all. My thinking is in this construct, a centre need to be involved.

Also not a huge Zucker lover..... would sooner take a chance in Fiala, but in the numbers game, Zucker is the likely choice.
