dont watch Montreal games closely enough to try to understand what their plan for KK is. Sort of fills like hes in the Tyson Jost role with the Avs...super talented but they just plug him in at C for whatever line that needs a bandaid on in the bottom 6 for that game. Go forecheck, try to create some offense but you won't lean on you for D zone starts, just dont get scored on

I imagine Tatar-Danault-Gallagher and Nate Thompson's line starts most of their shifts in the defensive zone while KK's like and Domi's line start on the offensive zone? That's really the only thing I can think of unless Montreal just starts a majority of their faceoffs in the opposing zone

I bet if you look at the Red Wings, they mostly start play in the defensive zone (majority of players have more defensive starts than offensive starts). Meaning Zadina is even more sheltered than perceived)
