Trouba declines to move back to Canada and lets his fiancee continue to practice medical and bring in enough money for the two of them until Toronto terminates the contract and he signs with an american team

Moving trouba back to Canada would be a raw deal that would never happen. But if it did and he refused to play he would be suspended without pay for the remainder of his contract.

Truba has absolutely no interest in playing in Canada which he has made public while playing with Jets. Leafs would thus have no interest in him.

It's kind of funny seeing NYR fans turning around and trading Trouba in these ACGM's considering how recent his signing was lol

I suppose Chevy is somewhere snickering about the trade.

Don't think the trade is good deal for the Rangers if Trouba is worth is 8m a year. If he isn't worth 8m, then the Leafs don't want any part of him.
No use trading for a player that is going to be unhappy with your team/location long term.

Okay. I don't check loyalty badges. The was another ACGM the other day with Trouba being traded so this isn't the first time here.

People forget easily the system and the players around Trouba last season. He's not playing with big Buff or Tyler Myers but is being expected to lead the younger, inexperienced NYR D and it's probably not going as smoothly as everyone thought it would.

Time for Trouba to step up.
