Horrible trade for the leafs. Bennett is terrible. Harmonic has not been himself either, maybe age is catching up to him.

Not good for sharks. If we are taking Ceci back, make the pick a first or add a prospect or pick

Hamonic would need to come with an extension and a pick to the Leafs imo.
Even then...I'd have to really think about it.

Calgary needs to add to that trade, extension hascto be included with Hamonic.

Kapanen is so much better than Bennett.

Kapanen > Bennett
Hamonic = Barrie

Ceci is an expiring contract. If he had 2+ years after this one, that would make sense. For an expiring contract there's no need. Sharks can use him like the Leafs used guys like Brewer and Jokinen in the tank years, to eat minutes in the garbage portion of the season and then let him walk. Dillon for a 2nd is fair.

We can easily do better. Many teams would like to have him. Supply and demand

Guess we will wait and see. At the minimum we can trade him to someone and not take Ceci back. We dont really owe the leafs that

Many TDLs do have cap dumps or big retention on players. If the Sharks are sellers they should be happy with a 2nd Though I like Dillon, many of the posts have him traded to the Leafs are really impractical.
Forcing Dermot to play the offside really doesn't make the Leafs better.

Well thats fine, but the sharks can probably do better than a second so they will clearly look for the best deal and not take a dump back unless you spice it up a bit.
