Brutal for the Leafs. Trading two NHL Dmen and only getting one in return. Even in future years the Leafs are worse on the ice and they lose the picks too.

Terrible deals all around. First, Leafs overpaying hard to the Sabres. Second, the Leafs don't need offense so the Canes trade does not solve the Leafs' main issue, which is defense, and Montour doesn't solve that problem as well.

Canes don't need Dermott. Foegele and Gauthier are of more value to the canes. Pass thanks
