You’re way off on the return, a cap dump and a failed prospect.... yeah the picks are nice but ehlers is young, locked up long term and is on pace for 60pts and he’s just scratching the surface of his potential. Jets would want a top 4 dman, depending on how good the dman is they could want more as well.

You know I’ve thought about a Deangelo++ deal for ehlers but I always come back to the fact that we already have 2 smaller dman in Morrissey and Pionk. Plus Pionk is basicallly a carbon copy of Tony. After this season Tony probably wants a lot more $ than we’d want to give him so I mean I just don’t think it’s a good fit. Ironically we need a trouba type dman.

Pionk is better than Tony. I dont think that is the type of deal the Jets would want.

Bear coming back is the first ask from WPG. Jets need RHD. So my guess is Bear++ is the ask.
