Detroit isn't trading Laffy for that. Regardless of whether he ends up being a "generational talent" or not, if you get 1OA, you keep it.

I'd be shocked if Krug signed with MTL or any team in Canada for that matter. Rumor is he currently has every Canadian team as part of his NTC.

Isles easily match that OS on Barzal, Detroit says Hell No not even close enough to getting Laffy. Zero chance either Krug or Pietrangelo sign with the Hab. From what's being reported Krug has zero desire to play in Canada, And Detroit could offer both Krug and Pietrangelo far more money then the Habs as they will've $45 million to spend this summer.

MN passes.

Byron fits nowhere in the Wild lineup. Tatar is nice but he's just another LHS wing, and a rental. MN could find much better use of $8m in cap that MTL is trying to dump on them.
