I think Domi is getting traded draft day, probably one of Petry/Tatar too this summer. So there is cap

Zibanejad (6 overall) score 40 goal yesterday. Look at his progression.

This would be a bad move for MTL. Dobson is good but KK will be a very good center in the future and MTL would be stupid to trade him away this early.

I don't get why KK is already considered a bust... He's had a better season at 18 than both Hughes and Kakko, and yet theyre not considered bust... Dobson hasn't done anything special yet. KK will play with great linemates next year and will also be way more strong and balanced... That last one is the main thing taking him down except the injuries of course.

Whoa whoa whoa, on se calme SVP!

Lets not blow our loads over Noah Dobson just yet please. He hasn't done jack squat yet. He's played half a year and hasn't produced Makar or Quinn level numbers or anything so relax. He is no better than KK, not even remotely better. Equal at best.

KK had to actually have a good rookie season as an 18 year old before you all could be so down on him this year, if he had this season a a rookie season, he'd be no different than a bunch of players drafted in that top 15 range. He's also younger than just about every player he's being compared to. Tkachuk/Hughes were almost old enough to be the 2017 draft for crying out loud. Dobson didn't even make the NHL his first year and even now that he has is not lighting it up either. Not too mention that KK is still almost a NHL season younger than Dobson. KK had an injury riddled year where the pressure was for him to be the next Barkov before Barkov even became what Barkov is now. Lol that was a tongue twister. KK has already showed he's too good for the AHL since being demoted. That Laval team is decimated and has more ECHL regulars on it than actual AHL quality players and yet he is still lighting it up.

If KK has already lost so much value comparatively to Dobson who hasn't done just about anything yet, what does that make Jack Hughes or Kirby Dach or Kappo Kakko? Busts in their first year?
