U would think with recent buys in Florida they wouldn’t be in a rebuild stage, but would be interesting with getting younger and reallocate cap. 10 million dollar bobrovsky looking a little rough right now.

I am 100% positive that these Barkov rumors are hearsay, but if he was available I would exhaust every option possible to land him. That being said Florida would be insane to let him go.

Oh for sure. One random article gets posted...most likely click bate, but it's fun to think about. I actually don't think this is THAT bad a return. Barkov is clearly the best player, but even he doesn't have the highest goals for their career in this trade. Debrincat wins that. Plus Strome and a 1st? It's not too far off.

If I had to venture a guess, I would have to assume that these Barkov rumors all revolve around his speech at the nhl awards when he won the lady byng trophy. He almost blatantly called out panther fans for never showing up. I would have to believe he is gonna Test free agency if he doesn’t get traded.
