No man. People on here have argued both cases, so far. Meaning that the value is probably quite fair. Doesn't mean either team or one of the teams actually does it.

Toronto doesn’t really need Jones when they can get Demelo without a trade.
Columbus doesn’t want another right winger.
Toronto isn’t gonna look to love one of their top forwards. The trade is fair but isn’t good for either team when there are other options.

Columbus only does this if they see Nylander having legit potential at centre and if they see Lily having top 4 potential.
And you have to see that there is a big difference between Jones and DeMelo. I think the Leafs will play it safe and more realistically go after an option like DeMelo. But Seth Jones would be a much much bigger piece than Demelo. This AGM was to see how that team would look like. Even if it is not as realistic.
