Probably not, and certainly not for that. That isn't even remotely close.

He's probably available for an overpay. Maybe if you make the pick a 1st.

Also DeMelo isn't taking that little. He gets at least 3M.

if his injury hampers his play Carolina will probs trade him at the deadline.

Highly disagree. There's lesser chance that happens than Ryan Kesler scoring another 30 goal season.

Carolina will not trade him when his value is low. At this contract and his skillset they should have a very high ask - A top line winger at minimum. A deadline trade due to injury would only result in more reluctant offers.

As much as I wish Vancouver could get him, his cost is far higher than we would be able to pay. I think it would cost Boeser to get him.

Absolutely, Pesce for Boeser would be a similar value. Not sure if either team would say yes

Not without Boeser coming back, no. He's probably a top 8-ish RD man in the NHL @AFOX10900 can verify.

Weegar? That's a new one, the rest I understand. Why Mackenzie Weegar?

I see, you're using the 1 year format. This is where I disagree, using a 3 year format, Pesce is still a stud where Weegar is great but not this calibre.

No, Weegar last year>Pesce this year imo, Pesce last year slightly>Weegar this year, two years, weighed slightly more towards this year, I'll look at the third year, but it's not really fair imo bc really both of them, but Weegar was still developing

So was Pesce, neither of them are old. Pesce's only 24 (he might be 25 now, idk when his birthday is) They're gonna take more time to develop because D men always do.

You are wrong and I will leave this here. I can get other sites too if you want.

He had one good season. If he gets back to that then he is in the conversation with the dman i mentioned right now it's not a debate.

You are wrong my good friend. I left you the Evolving Hockey link, I encourage you to look around that website as well as www.hockeyviz.com and Charting Hockey, I also encourage you to look at Corsica but that is hit and miss. If you do not wish to comment further, please do not, we can agree to disagree. But replying only to tell me I'm wrong is a waste of both our time
