Moore is definitely a cap dump unless the cap jumps up to 90M. Mayfield is making half the money and plays significantly better. Since the Bruins signed him (by being the highest bidder (no other team wanted to offer him that money)) he has declined significantly.

If teams already didn't want to pay him (just cash) what he is making when he was a legit bottom pair defenceman why would they give up picks for him now when he's a healthy scratch?

I see a lot of Bruins fan saying the Holl signing was bad. He's getting 2M and he's significantly better than Moore.

First off: I looked through his posts to confirm this, and you are right. But he Very Kindly explained that he was mistaken and was off on the value of players. So he dropped to just saying Moore is worth a 7th because he knew people just weren’t going to listen. However, I have done my own research, and you must understand that Moore is that good, but with a Long Term injury this year, and being stuck behind Chara, Krug, and Griz, the bruins forced him into a 7th d role. On any other team, he has the skill to be a solid top 6 defender, just watch his play. So no, he is not a cap dump, but as bsilk18 said, he is now just worth a 7th
