I have a strategic plan to stop the Blackhawks from picking askarov Chi Hawk... we ACGM seem to almost always be wrong, if we make our posts assuming we take the goalie, it won’t happen.

Sorry not a Blackhawks fan, but what's wrong with Askarov? Seems like a decent fit for the Hawks I know Crawford isn't washed up yet but Askarov should be about ready when he is.

It’s a very high risk draft pick, if we could get a projected top 6 forward with number 9/10 , we should do that and fill the goalie need from within.

Goalies as a top 10 pick are way too high risk and goalies on the free agent and trade market generally don't have the value of a 1st line D guy or top 6 stud like lundell could be.

Hawks priority list:
1) Holtz
2) Perfetti
3) Lundell
4) Sanderson
5) Askarov

I’m sorry but you could easily trade for Jarry/Murray/Georgiev or sign Markstrom/Fleury (CBO) / Lehner in free agency and would be worth less than a 9th overall and also won’t command Vasi money like Askarov would. Paying a goalie more than 6-7 mill is not good

Agree with your list but pretty sure if the Hawks draft at the 9 spot, Lundell will be BPA

I feel like you guys need a RW after Kane. Saad not sure how long he will be here for and Nylander probably will never be a 2RW.
Kubalik-Toews-Holtz
DeBrincat-Dach-Kane

Your top 6 is set and you can get a Toews replacement in the next 2 years or something. But Lundell could be the best Toews replacement also so it’s 50/50 Lundell vs Holtz. I think I’d prefer Holtz, then maybe take Lundell over Perfetti

I would however suggest that we draft (2) goalies in the later rounds of this draft. I'm not saying it's a deep goalie draft. I quick frankly don't know that to be true or not, but Delia/Lankinen/Tomplkins/Nalimov at ALL 25 years old. That just leaves Gravel and Woeters. A guy like Nico Daws or Jan Bednar would be on my radar for sure.

The problem with that top line is both Kubalik and Holtz are shooters. I personally like some diversity within the line. I'd split them up. Kuba with Kane and The Cat with Holtz. That's just me though.

Yeah. No such thing as having too many snipers as long as the centres are solid both ends of the ice

He's got a wicked wrister and a sneaky snap shot. Only Kubalik has a slap shot on this entire forward group.

But then you have 2 snipers in Holtz and Cat. Problem with Holtz, like Cat, is a one dimensional game in other words not much defense.

I don't have an issue with Cat's defense. It's not Selke worthy, but he's a grinder.
