I don't think we'd have to add Dermott. Value still isn't really there. I don't think Zibanejad is going to replicate the season he had ever again.

Obviously not that good, he led the NHL in G/gp but could see him being a 40 goal scorer, 80-90 point guy on the Leafs. This would be 1 dirty lineup

Its not enough. Nevermind the fact that Fox only wants to play in NYC.

Matthews will not be traded anyways. I know that you included "for fun" but its just so unrealistic that it is silly IMO.

If you are trading Matthews (which the Leafs won't) it better be for more than a guy who is a legit franchise centre around Matthews age. This certainly isn't what you'd want. Fox is the higher value player from NYC but he's not remotely close to the level Matthews is and Z isn't anywhere close.

it was because he said he was tired of losing for 5 years. I feel bad too, and can sympathize with an underperforming, mismanaged hockey team having been a leafs fan for a long time
