The jets are not paying for Russel. Not even a 7th. We could use that money to get a real top 4 guy instead

laugh laugh Not even close for Mantha, Detroit's not qualifying Perlini so he's a UFA. One of Nurse or Broberg would need to go the other way for Mantha. Yzerman will want to see what Svechnikov can do before if he decides to move him or not. Anyways those scraps don't cut it. Mantha isn't available and those pieces don't cut it.

Probably would still decline tbh. I’d rather use that cap space to get pionk a partner for a year to ease one of Samberg or heinola into that role. We really only have 2 needs this offseason. A 2ld and a 2c if little isn’t healthy.

Still no. The jets want to get back to contention and signing cheaper and better options is a start as opposed to taking cap dumps
