Ducks decline, And the Blues deal their 2nd best Dman for Nylander. Makes no sense they already are going to have issues being able to resign both Dunn and Pietrangelo and that adds another $1 million to their payroll that they can't afford.

Not to mention Blues now have even less cap to sign Piet so basically they are trading their 2 best defense for a winger that they dont need and doesnt fit their defensive system even remotely

Paryako would be a very solid acquisition for the leafs but the cost will be very high and the blues will want to keep him with the possibility of Pitrangelo leaving. Overall I just dont see any team taking but the kings cause we have to do that trade to resign clifford.

Sorry Leafs fans. Kyle Clifford is not going to take a pay cut. He's worth his weight in gold. Good grief!

yeah, 4th liners who are ok defensively but cant score to save their lives sure are worth backing the truck up over because they might punch another 4th liner in the face a couple times!

He can go then. Rather have Korshkov on the 4th line for cheaper.

You really don't have a clue. Your GM does and it was a good move. But, based on Leaf fans attitude, ya'll don't deserve to have him on your team.

please enlighten me how the guy who was dead last in ice time for the Kings during both of their cup runs was super important. Please tell me! I bet he protects people! except, wait, that isnt actually a thing. Oh i got it! He's a good guy who helps teach the kids how to be good pros! and the leafs need a 4th liner to do that instead of guys like tavares and Muzzin because....reasons?

hmm, at a loss here

cool, you cant grasp that sometimes meh to bad players are on cup teams and have zero to minimal impact on that team winning a cup. But i guess that's par for the course.

The LAST time the Leafs were close to a Cup? 1993. I'd bet the vast majority of Leaf fans on this site weren't even a sparkle in their momma's eye.

Keep dreaming! #Peace

7 of them came in 2014! 5 more came in 2011. In his 8 career playoff games since the cup win in 2014 he has one assist. One. On a team that won zero of those 8 games. Clearly he is vital and worth 200lbs of gold or some nonsense

what does this have to do with anything? Oh right, you got cornered and panic posted. Good job, Clifford is a meh 4th liner and isnt worth his weight in brass let alone gold.

Kings fans would say.. Thanks for Trevor Moore, along with two 3rds, (*2nd) for a back up goalie and a 4th liner. LOL!
